National Automotive Finance (NAF) Association Elects New Officers to Executive Committee

TALLAHASSEE, FL, JUNE 11, 2024 – The National Automotive Finance (NAF) Association is pleased to announce the election of new officers to its Executive Committee. These representatives will serve one-year terms, bringing a wealth of experience and dedication to their respective roles.

Leading the association as President is Claudia Plascencia, Senior Vice President at Resolvion, a seasoned professional known for her extensive experience in automotive finance, recovery solutions, and commitment to industry excellence. Serving alongside Plascencia are several individuals esteemed for their contributions and leadership in the automotive finance sector:

• Chairman: Micky Watts, Senior Vice President, Anderson Brothers Bank
• Vice President: Suzi Straffon, Director of Finance Company Markets | Sales Development, Allied Solutions
• Secretary: Matt Burke, CEO, Center Street Finance
• Treasurer: Dan Baggett, SVP of Compliance and Loan Servicing, SAFCO
The Executive Committee plays a pivotal role in guiding the association’s strategic direction, overseeing key initiatives, and representing the interests of its members. With their diverse backgrounds and shared passion for advancing automotive finance, the newly elected officers are poised to lead the association to new heights of success and impact.

Additionally, the association would like to extend a special thank you to immediate-past Chairman Paul Gillespie, SVP at GM Financial | AmeriCredit, for his dedicated service and leadership during his tenure.

The new and outgoing officers were recognized last week at the 28th Annual Non-Prime Auto Financing Conference in Fort Worth, TX. Save the date for next year’s premier industry event which is scheduled for June 4 – 6, 2025 in Plano, TX.
